Growing evergreen hibiscus:
There are many species of hibiscus, we are now talking about hibiscus rosa-sinensis, a beautiful evergreen shrub. It is a species of Asian origin, not suited to the Italian climate, it is cultivated in the garden only in fine weather, in the winter months it finds a place in the greenhouse, or even in the apartment. Throughout the summer it produces very large bell-shaped flowers, yellow, red or orange, very decorative. It is watered with good regularity, avoiding excesses and always waiting for the soil to be dry before watering again; the periodic use of a good fertilizer for flowering plants favors flowering, so as the positioning of the plant in a sunny place. In autumn we repot our hibiscus and shorten all the branches, to avoid that over time it tends to develop excessively long and bare branches.
